Historically, ASM’s marketing efforts focused almost exclusively on supporting institutional sales products. Increased competition for submissions, coupled with ASM’s commitment to open access, necessitated a new strategy to market services to authors, understanding that serving their needs and making the ASM publishing experience great is key to a successful program.
